    Just looking for some info

I have a Iomega 320gb Portable HDD and can see that does not work.

Edit - Thought i would try the Iomega (Up model) and works great (320gb 2.5")

Also i have an external HDD but have a different HDD in it that came with it.

The caddy is a Freecom but the drive is now a Samsung SP1604N (160gb)

Does anyone know if it matters what caddy you use?

Got the samsung working no problems.

Quick question about the covers, they only show when i put a SD card in, cannot these files not be saved to the internal memory?

Also i had Wii Sports Resort with my machine and uploaded this to the WiiHDD but it just keeps going back to the main menu, all other games (so far) that i loaded on work fine, inc Wii fit and wii sports

The Wii doesn't have an internal memory in the way you are thinking of it. You can, however, store the images on a FAT partition on your HDD and change the image path setting for USB Loader GX.

    For WSR-look here: http://www.wiihacks.com/general-home...ts-resort.html

@mrms - files with the .wad extension can be located anywhere by the Wad Manager-they generally are copied either to the Root directory of the SD card or can be copies to the WAD folder. files with the .dol extentsion are installed via HBC and are placed in their own folder under the Apps folder on the SD card. Ex:SD:\Apps\USBLoaderGX\boot.dol

So i can install either was by the wad file or through hbc right

Yes, with USB Loader GX, some revisions have been made available as both .dol and .wad files.
