Also, I'm sure drive fragmentation and other wear/tear issues are involved.

I have not updated any ios's nor used any different hard drives. Always straight to wbfs partition. Nothings really changed other than the amount of data on the hard drive itself. Im really at a loss.

Could you give support for windows 7 and how to make it clickable? thank you
Sorry last night I just posted some general information was to tired to put anymore. I used bootit to turn the thumb drive into a HDD. So now it says primary partition and is a HDD. However when i right click my drop down list looks like Extend Volume, Shrink Volume, Add Mirror, Delete Volume. But nearly everything is greyed out even on my main hard drive. How can I go about deleteing the partition. specifically i'd like 4GB's FAT32 8GB's NTFS with the remaining 3GB's (15.1GB's total) as wii HDD. I'd be much appreciative if anyone could explain in a little more detail.

Yes, but other than having to suffer the inconvenience of longer installation time, you are not getting errors and your games play just fine?

There is no point in partitioning a thumb drive....especially the way you describe. Everything works from FAT32 on Wii and thats the best option for a small thumb drive. Why have 3 partitions when everything works from one? You can even use NTFS if you want...instead of FAT32.

Configurable USB Loader not autobooting properly.

Hello, I'm having trouble loading games from my HDD in Configurable USB Loader, and I hope someone here can help.

I followed Mauifrog's softmod guide, and formatted my brand new WD My Passport SE 1Tb with two partitions - 250Gb FAT32 for Wii games, and 750Gb NTSF for larger files, etc. I also set Priiloader to autoboot into CFG

Yesterday, I was able to rip games to the FAT32 partition via CFG and they seemed to play fine. However, when I tried again today, the USB Loader hung on the loading screen, and the HDD started beeping. I tried plugging in the USB HDD, after CFG loaded, and it still wasn't able to find the HDD.

I eventually managed to get it to work by entering the USB Loader through the System Menu, rather than autobooting through Priiloader. But I'd still like to get it to autoboot if possible.

    Here's my sysCheck:

    Spoiler

    Thanks.

Can someone help me understand if I have this straight...

I have softmodded my wii to allow a Backup HDD to run games.

    1. If I download an ISO of a game, and load it onto the HDD (assuming it's done properly), there is a slim/decent/good chance that it may not load if I don't have proper cIOS loaded into IOS slots? Simply, I may have to mess around with some more patches, etc. in order to get the game to load properly?

    2. If I simply rip an actual game disk onto the HDD through a loader on the screen, I will never have this issue?

Answers to any of these questions would be much appreciated. Thank you!

    -Fred

    1. Then you are a pirate and will not get help here.
    2. some games require attention to play from hdd. there is a problematic games guide on the site that should get you past those issues.

Hi I need a help to partition a new WD 2TB Hard drive. I want allocate 250 GB to WBFS. I have all my Wii applications on my SD card and am happy with it and want to use the balance hard drive as a storage device for my files.

    (1) The WD hard drive comes with some softwares like backup manager....etc
    (2) When I read this guide it says right click on the drive and delete everything. If I do..wont this delete all the WD applications?
    (3) I need help in dividing my 2 TB in to (a) 250GB WBFS for games (b) 500 GB Each three drives for my normal computer files.

Please let me know if its not possible to partition my HDD without wiping it off clean as a start point. Thanks
