I was wondering if the mods on this site could compile a list of what PAL games don't work on NTSC wii's and vise versa via USB Loader GX. I can contribute. Thanks mates, Ballazhall

Any idea about the problem?or is there a setting i have to make?
That's going to take a little detective work on your part as there is nothing definitive or specific enough to pinpoint the problem. Returning to the system menu from a game would suggest Priiloader so I would reinstall Priiloader. I would also check out other revisions of USB Loader GX as I mentioned before (no I did not link those before) and also to try other USB Loaders (those are linked in the guide).

Go HERE and download USB Loader GX rev 921. Rename the rev921.dol to boot.dol and place it inside the USB Loader GX folder in the Apps folder of your SD card. Run it from the HBC menu.

Not really feasible as the trial and error method to get out of region games to play is not consistent. As an example, on my 3.2U Wii with an old stable rev of USB Loader GX, I have been able to get to play most out-of-region games using only FORCE VIDEO. Those same games have either failed or needed various combinations to get working on my sister's 4.0 Wii-same rev of USB Loader GX. Still another variation was seen with those same games on a 4.1U Wii using USB Loader GX rev 921 vs one on rev 938. There is some aspect of art vs science in hacking the Wii; not all consoles act the same even with almost identical mods.

I had setup a hard drive with WBFS a while a go and I recently had to wipe my computer, and now when I try to load the drive in WBFS I cant. Any ideas on how I can get it to work with out having to delete my games to reformat and start over?

reinstalling WBFS Mgr shouldn't have changed your ability to see and use that Wii HDD. I use a variety of PCs and they all see the Wii HDDs. After you restored your PC, did you install a different operating system such as moved from WinXP to Win7 or 32bit to 64bit? If so, download the correct version of WBFS Mgr for your OS. If not, try a complete reinstall of WBFS Mgr on that PC.

    I have a problem.
It works with my USB stick but NOT with my External HDD, Iomega Desktop USB Value 500GB.
It says "Wating for slow USB device" in USB Loader

Just bought a WD My Passport 320G for my daughters softmodded 4.1 (Thanks to all on this site) and have a question regarding life of external HDD's. When used with a PC it is customary to 'park' the HDD heads before disconnecting to avoid head/disk surface damage, is this possible using Wii and USB Loader GX or am I just worrying too much?

Your just worrying too much. The same still applies to the HDD whether it's attached to a PC, Wii, or toaster oven. If it's off, the heads are parked.

If it's on and spinning, don't go picking it up and twirling it around the room, lol.
