You forgot to mention another key benefit of USB Hard drive over a backup DVD disc...not having to get up from your sofa to change discs when you want to play another game!
Backups disks read at 3x, Originals at 6x , USB Loading is 8x.
Damn I suck!!!!
Lol your right. That undoubtedly is the best part, along with the fact that backup disks can get scratched just like Originals so no Re-burning.
Damn I suck!!!!
Do you guys think you can tell me how to un update my wii from 6.1 version I updated it by accident and it will not let me use NeoGamma or uloader. ty
This guide worked great. I can not wait to try Wiiflow
just got a 320 gb WD passport essential on sale at walmart for 60 bucks and following this guide it worked perfectly!
I have a silly question.. My wii cannot read burned discs cuz it has the d3-2 drive.. but if i wanted to copy my friends burned copies to my passport HDD via usb loaders rip feature....would that work... im pretty sure its no but i just felt to ask lol.
1. Your friend's Wii is softmodded;
2. Your friend's Wii drive isn't D3-2/D4;
3. Have USB Loader GX up and running, insert disc/install to HD;
4. Move HD back to your Wii and enjoy.
Note: wiihacks does not support, condone, or encourage piracy in any form --- if you don't own these games, to do so would be copyright infringing and illegal (subject to criminal and civil litigation, depending on laws in your locale).
i followed this guide using a spare 2.5" ide/pata hdd in an enclosure and usb loader gx says my drive might be slow and dunno whether it did detect my drive or not ? how do you tell? have tried both usb ports to no avail.
i know from 1st page about the supported drives, is there a recommended spec i.e 2.5 vs 3.5, pata/sata, rpm etc?
my wii is a D3-2 and backups didn't play at all, have the error 1160 on neogamma
