    I just downloaded an .iso from the internet. I was able to put the game on my harddrive using the WBFS manager. I hooked the hard-drive up to my Wii and I was able to see the game in USB Launcher, but when i attempt to play the game, it brings me right back to the Wii menu. I even chose the option to "force NTSC" per this guide, but had the same result. I don't know if this has something to do with it, but when I extracted the .iso using winRAR, I don't think the process completed in full (I actually had to shut down the program becaues it wasn't responding). Is there another option I can choose to get the game to work, or did I just get a bad file?

    Also, to change the subject, how to do download disc images using WBFS manager? I see that the option is checked, but I don't see how to actually download the images?

    Thank you!

    **Correction** I was actually using winace, not winRAR. I re-extracted the file using winRAR, and it was extracted sucessfully. I put the file on my hard-drive and attempted to load the game in USB loader. This time, I got an "error 002" (I tried both defult settings and forcing NTSC)

    Not sure what you meant to say about default settings, but do go into your settings menu and turn the 002 error fix to ON

    Mallee, yes please connect your Seagate drives to your PC and then use the Seagate Manager to set the energy-saving modes to either never or something really long. As the Wii is not a PC, the signal that internal HDDs expect to see from the PC to tell the HDD that it is being actively used is not sent by the Wii and so the drives powerdown. go to sleep , or whatever it was set to do. After you do that, as mentioned, you may still have problems as those Seagate drives with that enclosure form a unit that is not entirely trustworthy with regard to compatibility with the Wii for games. If you get them to work, make sure you diligently make backups.

    Alright, I'm confused. I am trying to get USB Loader GX to work on my Wii. I got to Step 7.c of this tutorial and my Wii just freezes after I selected "Use IOS38 merged with IOS37 " (I had to hold the power button for about 7 seconds for it to turn off). Every step before 7.c ran smoothly from what I could tell. I even let it sit overnight just to make sure it was frozen and not installing anything. I turned it off and turned it back to make sure the Wii was still working correctly, then I tried booting USB Loader GX and it gave this message:

    ERROR!
    USB Loader GX needs unstubbed cIOS 222 v4 or 249 v9+

    I found
    222 = -36868
    249 = -36868

    Go figure out how to get some cIOS action going on in your Wii and come back and see me.

    Bye

    My Wii is running on Ver. 3.1 U - idk if this matters. I'm just really confused right now.

    You must be very confused, Tommy. You posted this a few days ago and received an answer at that time. Go back and look for your previous identical post in this thread, the response will be that same day.
