@gen3sf,I use Verbatim Dvd-r and I burn them using Imgburn at the slowest speed (x1),the only game I seem to have problems with at the moment is Rabbids Go Home so I will have to download a different one and try again. I have now formatted my ext Hdd,re-installed WBFS Manager 3.0 on my Pc and all seems well so far ( fingers crossed) I am sure the problem was caused originally by the Mario Kart Iso ( I downloaded it from fileshare) It was working fine from disc but I then decided to install it to the Hdd and that's when it all kicked off and it also started to give me errors reading disc after that.I have installed Animal Crossing again off the disc using USB Loader GX and this time the file size is 0.34GB so I am not sure what has changed there.I have also installed other games and the file sizes are now smaller than before.I will let you know if any other problem show up in the future.I thank you so very much for your help and advice it has been greatly appreciated.Enrico

@Enrico (Italianwelsh) - try ImgBurn at 4X or 2X burn speeds. Withe the older DVD burners 1X used to be the standard recommendation, but we started to see some artifacts show up in the burned copies that were introduced due to the slow speed. As the discs and burners are now rated for higher speeds, 4X seems to be the sweet spot for the Wii burns for now with 2X being OK, too.

Glad your files are looking more appropriate now. You are very welcome and happy to have been of some help to you.

@pyro-WD external USB HDD usually come preformatted, often as FAT32, was yours an internal HDD, a previously used external WD HDD, or a WD HDD for the Mac? There must be something about it that is making it not look like the graphic in this guide-any clues?

I thought you were saying you did not see any partition; do you see the drive as a single partition? If so, just follow this guide and create a partition for WBFS formatting and any other partitions you want.

Yes the drive is shown as one single partition, The wierd thing is it is a 500 GB, but it only displays available space is 669MB? I havent put ANYthing on this HDD either. I think I will ununstall the hardware for it and try again?

I am newbie just did softmod and make USBloader work with USB key. But don't know why I have to leave my softmod SD card in Wii to run USBloader. If SD is not in, USBloader report a buch of number as bug dump. Any idea?

I loaded Namco museum trough usb loader gx and when i tried loading it.. it would freeze my system or give me a black screen.... ive learned this is because I dont have ios33. but cant find it also if i were to scrub this iso would this solve my problem?

    thanks in advance.
