    Two questions.
    - Is there a .WAD file for making the USB loader a chanel?
    - How can I get the USB loader to show the game I'm loading's album cover?

If you updated to sysmenu 4.2 and did not brick, expanding your softmod beyond the HBC will not brick your Wii if you follow directions. Many chipmodded Wiis are also softmodded.

If it is a frozen black screen, you might need to install or update an IOS. See if your game is listed here:http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...s-use-run.html . You might also search this site to see if the game is known to need additional installs or tweaking to play from a backup.

If the screen is blue and shows error 002, go the the loader settings and set 002 fix to ON or Enabled

A frozen green screen is generally from an out-of-region game and may play with adjustment of the country, region, or video related settings.

    Thank you.

I have not checked my version recently. I know I updated the Wii a few times as I was trying out new games but never really paid attention to the current version.

    I will check and POST.

I must first say that I love the idea of having all the games on one USB HDD instead of burning them one by one!

I have enjoyed my Drivekey though since almost 100% of the games would play without modification and fixes!!!

My question is if it will also be that easy with softmoding the Wii or do I have to start modifying each individual game image and fixing things like "02" errors and etc..?

Your USB Loader GX and WBFS Manager 3.0 link is private. Can you give another link?

@esabet-when a chipmod works, it is indeed easier with regard to the maintenance issue-the benefits of a working chipmod is that one can allow the system to update and accept disc updates. This is not so with a softmod, while the 002 fix can be set within the global or application settings, one does have to update IOSes and install IOSes that a new game needs manually.

@Sanora-hi-can you try the link again, please. It is just the same URL as from dogeggs' Optional section of the softmod tutorial. I just check and it was fine-please try it again.
