Bludog - Not sure if it helps but I had a few issues ripping a few of my retail games using USB Loaders and needed to download the ISO for each failed one. I'd imagine a backup is far lower quality than a retail pressed disc so maybe the loader is having difficulty. One single byte in the wrong place and the ISO may refuse to load. This is a guess of course.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

I have not done anything yet. Getting hdd tomorow morning. i just want to put in like a couple dozen games on it and the same goes for movies. So if movies will play without fat32 then great if not i will make 50%of it for games and the other for movies. Also what movie formats can be played besides avi? If you can play mkv that would be great for quality and file size.

In the Game Load settings, you can choose Install options, between Game Partition on, All partitions. Under that u can click install 1:1 copy. I wonder if there is any reason to choose 1:1 copy and All partitions instead of just choosing Gamepartition.
