I have an external hdd: Western Digital 1.5TB Caviar Green Power and an Antec MX-100 Enclosure. Has a 10GB Fat partition, and remaining size is in WBFS (Primary)

Have 2 games downloaded now NSMB (NTSC-U ver) and Bleach (PAL) both games gives the black screen and reboots. Initially thought it was missing IOSes, but I have downloaded some other wiiware games that uses the same IOS and those run perfectly fine.

Used USBLoader GX r830 (initially tried r815) but both gave me the black screen/reboot. Neogamma 8 r7 after you mount the drive, it sees the games, but when you try and run the game it says something like Error Launch dvd (n).

Any suggestions on which one game is easy to play? I'll report back in a day after I try your suggested game.
i finally got this figured out. i had the same problem with the rebooting of games on my 1.5tb wd elements drive. the problem has to do with the cluster size of the hard drives over 1tb. i tried to tranfer games from a 1tb drive to a 1.5tb drive and when i clicked on the games, it would reboot my Wii. i tried many if not all the different wbfs managers out there and finally found 1 that works. works well too. now all my games are on a 1.5tb drive formatted to wbfs. not sure of the rules to post sites but here it is. (h**p://duchaine.dyndns.org/index.php/wbfsgui.html) hope this helps. i know it was driving me nuts.

    USB Loader and DriveKey

My Wii is hardmoded with DriveKey. Can I use the USB Loader method to load games or this method only works with SoftModed Wii?

(Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am very new (duh!!!))!

    Thank you in advance.

You mention the cluster size. What cluster size did you set in order for it to work?

The answer is yes to both You'll have to install a USB Loader after HBC.

WBFS Manager 3.0 supports partitions up to 1TB in size.

@Havenly - I think you if continue to be unable to mount loaders from installing the wad files that you are dealing with one of those Wiis that can't seem to install either NeoGamma or USB Loader GX as channels. These loaders do seem to still run as homebrew apps though.

Thanks but I am confused! I think my question was not clear! So I am going to make it more clear!

But before that let me also add that I have already installed HBC!!

Now, the fact that I have Drivekey installed, do I still need to softmod the Wii to use a USB HDD?

Yes, you will need, at the very least to install cIOS in order for any USB Loader to work.

If your Wii is 3.1-4.1: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...0-4-1-wii.html

If your Wii is on sysmenu 4.2: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...s-4-2-wii.html

But would the fact that I have Drivekey installed make things more complicated?

Would it increase the chances of the Wii getting bricked?
