    External DVD/BR

Thanks for the tutorial. Just curious, though. Is it possible to connect an external (and faster) dvd/br reader/writer to the Wii for loading back-up games?

Hey I asked this question at GBATemp and nobody responded, so I'm hoping someone here can help me with a few problems I'm having with USB Loader GX. I've got it installed and my HDD works fine, I just can't get it to load anything up properly. First off is the app itself. Whenever I load it, I can only see the menu background (a white screen with gray at the bottom) and I can only move the cursor around, but there are no buttons or anything to click. Also the background music plays. However, I have managed to get the menu to appear by putting the HDD in the wrong USB port, then by trying again with it in the right one. This is the only way that I've been able to get the menu to load. I can access everything from it and download covers/disc images, but whenever I try to run a game, everything locks up. The cursor changes to the rock sign and I can still move it around and hover over buttons, but I can't click anything and nothing loads. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong? I'm running a system menu 4.1 with an IOS 249. I know I've seen something about 222 somewhere but I can't figure out how to install it. (All the installers I've tried don't have it available in the menu for some reason) I've tried both the channel and the forwarder, and even some r899 wad that it came with. Thanks in advance!

It's not your noobiness, the Mac has some additional timing issues even with a compatible WBFS-formated drive-can you please search this thread-I know I told someone about the order of plugging the HDD and WBFS Mgr and something else for Mac OS a few weeks ago. There is a thread search tool up on the blue bar-see if you can find the info. Post back if you can't and I will look for it in my notes for you.

uLoader 3.6 supports an external USB DVD drive. Give it a try and see if it works out for you. Good luck.
