I got a seagate 60gig external usb portable 2.5 HD from fleabay and it works great ,I to followed the directions and it was fine accept for the WBFS proggy I had to use the tools on the upper left hand corner to put the games in,also in windows my hd failed(told me it was raw data in windows) but I went ahead and continued to the WBFS part and all went great

When you clicked on the link, it should have taken you to the Homebrew Browser page on wiibrew.org. The download link is in the light blue box on the right side of the page. Click the download and a zipped file named something like HomebrewBrowser should be on your PC HDD. Unzip that file-not un-rar-it is a zip file, I just checked. Copy that folder named HomebrewBrowser 3.x to the Apps folder of your SD card. Now HBC should see that app.

These discussions are held in open forum-so others can see and maybe get some help too.

try to reinstall your USB Loader, try another revision of your USB Loader and if you still get problems try running the loader from the HBC instead of the channel version just to check the USB Loader for function. If still no joy-try a different USB Loader.

    - Run DowngradeIOS35.dol following dummies guide (I think this is the cause of the problem)
    - Try to install ios35.wad from Wad Manager failed (error -2011)
    - Stopped following the dummies guide
    - Follow DogEggs Guide. Run ALL steps successfully, no errors
    - Install USB Loader GX
    - Install USB Loader GX forwarder

It seems there is a problem with IOS35.
Signcheck hangs analyzing IOS35 (just after analyzing IOS36):

The following solutions worked in similar cases:

    - Update using NSMB disk (here)
    - Upgrade to 4.2 from system menu and then re-mod following 4.2 guide (here)
    - Use NUSD_13Beta to download IOS35-64-v3349.wad and install it throu Wad Manager (here)

I'm afraid of briking my Wii following any of them, or the "virgin" guide.

    Any suggestion?
If I install IOS35-64-v3349.wad throu Wad Manager, Can I restore the system using Bootmii (installed as a IOS) if something goes wrong?

    Thank you in advanced!
First, install a clean IOS35 with Wad Manager. Replacing the old IOS35 will not brick your Wii. Now try and reinstall a channel version of USB Loader GX. Be aware that some of the newer Wiis have an unexplained quirk that prevents loaders from being installed as channels, but they still work from HBC. While, it is an additional step, at least the loaders work.

If this applies to your Wii, there is no established fix because we don't know why this happens. All I can recommend if your Wii is one of those quirky loader channel rejectors is too periodically try a different updated revision and also other USB Loader updates too.

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Which version should I install first? IOS35-64-v1044.wad, IOS35-64-v3088.wad, IOS35-64-v3092.wad or IOS35-64-v3349.wad?

I have to use default settings (IOS249 and SD Card) throu Wad Manager?

    Thanks again!

Try 3092, please and yes -go to HBC, select Wad Manager-leave it at its default settings of IOS249 and SD card slot, find and install your IOS35 version.
