I'm playing Resident evil 1 (Wii archives), and I can't figure out how to change the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9. Help.

    Hi Guys,

    Strange problem here...
I am running version 2.2c of USB Loader GX and when I try to set the paths for "Full Cover Path" and "Disc Artwork Path" it immediately crashes with an exception screen. I could successfully change the paths to "3D Cover Path" and "2D Cover Path" with no problems and it saved correctly, but as soon as I click on either of the problem paths, the screen goes grey like when there's static because the channel isn't tuned in properly and then an exception screen which says it'll restart in 20 seconds, but after the 20 secs the screen goes black and I have to pull the power cord and plug it back in to start my Wii again.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Please let me know if you need more info...
    Thanx in advance.

Are you trying to set the path to the usb device or the sd card?
ATTENTION : Set all your user defined paths to SD card or you can corrupt your data.
That is from THIS link about GX.I'm not sure if the issue was adderssed in 2.2.
I have mine set to the usb hdd and have had no issues, but if I do I will really have no one to blame but myself.

Thanx for replying to my post again!
Yes, the paths were pointing to a location on my SD, but I moved stuff around since my SD was in chaos and I wanted to have things more organised.
So, instead of the images being in a specific location on the SD I was setting it to a different location on the same SD. So, as I said before, the 2D and 3D updates worked 100%, but the disc and full paths crashes as soon as I click on either to specify a new path. It doesn't even open the browse window to select a different path.
I have edited the paths in the cfg file in the meantime, so it's not like it's causing me a heartache. I was just wondering if there's something wrong with my USB Loader GX...

Hi guys. I have an issue with usbloader gx 2.2. I used maufrogs guide to softmod my wii and I have the 4.1u system menu now. All that went off without a hitch. I was using cfg loader but wanted something better so I chose this one. I have it running fine from my sd card using the forwarder channel. The only problem i'm having is setting the cIOS to use for games. According to another post I read ( which I cant find now)you can set the games individually for whatever ios they use but I have NO option to do that. When I try to set the iso to use it brings up a qwerty keyboard and I can only put in ONE ios for ALL the games. Am I missing something here?

EDIT: Nevermind guys. I figured it out. I really should learn to read more.

O'k now I have a different issue. I have usb loader gx set to bring me back to the loader screen when leaving a game but every now and again it will freeze on the "loading usb device" screen and then says "waiting for usb device 2 sec". Then it does nothing and I have to reset the Wii. It cant be a HDD issue because all my games load fine and before I put in usb loader gx I was using cfg loader without issues loading games from my HDD. Any ideas?

Bad rip or old cIOS. What cIOS are you using?

I'm quite new to this, so forgive me, but how do you figure out what cIOS yo uare using ? It may be possible that I have a bad rip since I did test it on the DOLPHIN emulator as well and it would not start a new game. ( also to note, once I got to the title screen, it was just a black page with " New game, load, and options" only viewable")
