This version has FAT support. You can change the used partition in the game load
options. Default WBFS will be used, if found. Otherwise the first FAT partition
with games will be used. FAT will only work when using Hermes cios (222/223)!!!

    Also,

Loads game from *.wbfs file on FAT32 partition (works only with Hermes cIOS) more

    Hope this helps.
Wiijohn, I have the Usbloader GX r938....alll working fine. Been able to rip games and play back-ups. How do I add game cover art...any guide or a good site that you could point me to? Even if I can locate the coverart (wiitdb.com), how do I add make the loader see it and download it? Thanks in advance

thanks...I read the sections and it is very informative. When I press '1' on the wimote, it asks for an SD card and then after iserting the SD card it gives me an option to download. My question is (i) After downloading, do I need the SD card everytime to view the cover/disc art ? (ii) I do not have wifi, hence I am presuming that I simply download Wiitdb.zip and place it in the root of my SD card and I can add the covers automatically. Is this correct. thanks

Yes you will need your SD card in the Wii.
You will have folders called \covers \images\2D\disc and config.

Im sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but i cant figure out what is wrong with USB Loader GX. I have the latest version that i downloaded from the site. Only thing i did different was update the TBR files. After that, I couldnt go in and change certain load options... it would crash. Running 4.1U after following mauifrogs tut on how to downgrade from 4.3U.

Can you check what cIOS version you are on. In GX go to settings, then credits, top right will show you GX version and cIOS version.
Maybe your mod was not completed correctly.

    Unhappy Boot/standard

Ok, i know this is probably a question most of you experienced members will laugh at. But when i was experimenting with the settings on usb loader gx, i sort of changed the boot/standard setting. Now, i don't know if i've changed something that shouldn't have been changed and now will brick my wii (luckily i already made a nand backup of my wii, and i can restore in case it actually does turn out to be bricked) or its just something trivial and won't affect my wii much. I dont' know what the original setting is for boot/standard is and now i'm too scared to turn off my wii or exit the channel in case i brick it. Please help. If i went through the trouble to painstakingly follow your forums just to brick my wii irreparably, then that just sucks.

You won't brick your wii. It should be set to 249 I believe.

You're not going to brick your Wii by changing the settings in USB loader GX.
