as per, HOWTO: Install Priiloader to help prevent system bricks if you cannot use Bootmii as boot2 Ade's Softmodding Wii blog

"There is currently a big affecting some Wii consoles where even when setting the system menu as the boot option, the wii will continue to load priiloader first. Download a beta of v.03 from here which should fix it: http://www.2shared.com/file/9803222/...Installer.html

rename the installer.dol to boot.dol and install over the top of the old version. If you need any further support with the beta please reply to this thread so the developer can help you: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtop...post&p=2444790 "

Don't know if this will help (wii in transit )

    Hi all,

I recently updated to 4.2E with the wanikoko firmware since I had a new game and I could not play it with an older version.

Now my HBC is inverted and my usb loader do not work anymore, do I have to do all the steps of this tutorial? Bootmii is still working on my wii, but hackmii no. Is there a faster way to get the HBC normal again and the usbloader and gamma running again?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

Try to the updated method. Go back to the tutorial again, format your sd card and use the new pack and instructions.

Step 2 - Restoring The Bug Into IOS36

    a) Load and Homebrew Channel and run DOP-IOS MOD, on the IOS Selection Screen, press down on the d-pad then A on the wiimote. You should now be in the trucha bug restorer portion of DOP-IOS MOD. Load IOS36 and select Downgrade IOS15. Each time it asks, select 'Load From NUS'
Make sure you get no errors.
only "load ios from sd card" is available? not "NUS"?

    is that ok?

thanks for your time and effort for this guide.

Solved! press right on D pad for other options! my bad

Step 5 b) Load up homebrew channel once more, then load up WAD Manager. Load IOS249, navigate to the wad folder, highlight IOS60patched.wad and press A. Make sure action is set to install and Install the wad. After a successful install, Press Home to go back to homebrew channel.
load249 then have options of "Select Nand emulator device" what do i choose? i dont see wad folder only the above option.

next option is select device too? still no wad folder. im bricking my pants now! let alone my wii lol

    Solved! select "None" then "SD"

I have done the first step just fine but I cant do the second step cause there is only two options: After I load DOP-IOS MOD it appears a wellcome screen and a warning then press A to continue or HOME to exit, so I press A and there apear only two options :
wich IOS would you like to use to install other IOSs?
    IOS: 60
install an IOS that accepts fakesigning
so basically I cant do the second step, so please helpme

On the screen that asks you to select an IOS:

Press Down on the d-pad then press A.
