    Hey ShadowSonic2,

I will try after a reformat , but basically , after telling me that if I paid for it I've been scammed , it stays black screen , and the light from the DVD entrance blinks intermitently.
At that point I just restart the Wii.

Thanks for answer , and I will let you know more as I go along.

    Respectfully, radujohn

I hope someone can help. I have a Hardmodded wii and it works fine apart from the fact it will not load the following backups. NHL2k10, Guitar Hero Smash hits, Guitar hero Metallica, Wii Sing, Guitar hero world tour.

I have softmodded and tried all kinds of things to resolve this, but only result is NHL now loads with neogamma.

I still can't get any of the others to load. all i get is no disc.

    any ideas ??

    Thanks in advance

    1.Download NUSDownloader and start it
2.Click database->System->System Menu and then select your Menu version (U for USA,E for Europe,J for Japan and K for Korea)
3.Tick "Pack->WAD" and then click "Start NUS download".
4.Put the WAD into the WAD folder in the Root of your SD.
5.Download WAD Manager and put it on the SD.
6.Then on the Wii start WAD Manager choose the Sysmenu wad and install it.

Then do Step 3 on this guide then follow all the steps aging starting from step 2.
    Note:

Follow the instruction on Step 7 using Priiloader ( v0.2. ).
For this just download Priiloader ( v0.2. ) and put the Priiloader v0.2 folder inside the Apps folder on your SD card. make sure you put a copy of the hacks.ini file in the Priiloader v0.2 folder as well just in case. When you finish Step 7 you can go back to homebrew and select Priiloader ( v0.2. ) and press - to unistall it after you saved the settings from Step 7.

Your Wii menu should be back by now. I was able to test with Mario Kart.
Outstanding. Tgmars, this is the stuff.. My posts were a little USA-centric. Sorry.. But this NUSDownloader will get you the system menus for your locale. Good luck mate.

I am on 4.2E and I have tried following this guide but when ever I open something from the homebrew channel (WAD installer for example) the wii remote disconnects soon afterwards.

I have seen this problem reported around the forum but havent seen a clear solution.

    Any help guys?

    Thanks

do i need to clear out my SD card and put those .wad files on there? or can i just leave everything on?

edit: I put those wad files on, started the wad manager, and the only files I can install are:
    IOS249.WAD
    USB_Loader_GX_r815.wad
    neogamma R8 b7.wad

    help?
To save you some time, so you don't have to format all the time, just create a folder on the root directory of your SD card ( I named mine step A, Step B, ..etc) put the files on the folder then you can load your new files on the root directory. It save me time when I did my brother's Wii. It took me 10 minutes, rather than more than an hour for my first soft mod.

Removed Priiloader rev15 and added in rev45. This revision should fix the problem of priiloader autobooting no matter what setting is set. There's also a few other fixes.

in your little tut you say to do step 3 of the original tutorial then step 2?.
about priiloader me and my dad thought we could donwload and upgrade from 0.1 to 0.2. we did this but to no avail. i am sure however that by once reloading the system menu then putting priiloader on top [v0.2] should work fine

Is it okay just install new version on top of the old one?

Update: Okay, I removed rev30 and installed rev45. When I pressed B during install, got a code dump. Tried again and installed w/o pressing B. Then I installed again while pressing B to install under IOS 249. Everything seems to be working now. Able to boot directly into System Menu after setting Autoboot.
