I'd be smarter if I knew how to bring back the original multi-windowed system menu when I start my wii, let alone, I'd be smarter if I knew how to delete and reformat my Wii back to original 4.2u ... thanks for the compliment, but can anyone help with these problems?

You have to have a working priiloader or you may get bricked by future game loads or online-updates.

That is how you're supposed to access the priiloader menu when you want.
If you can't get it, you need to re-install it. Here's my link to the Installer.dol file:
2shared - download Installer.dol
You put this Installer.dol in the /apps/Priiloader v0.1 folder on the sd card. In that folder rename boot.dol to old_boot.dol and then rename Installer.dol to boot.dol
Install this priiloader as before from the Homebrew channel and perform the setting as described in the tutorial

@radujohn, what happens at step 1b? Try using different sd cards. Also try re-formatting. Make sure the files are in the right place. Make sure to open the sd menu THEN insert the sd card.

I bricked my Wii after Priiloader problems.
Followed instructions to the letter, everything worked, except the priiloader wouldn't let me get to the system menu. So, I decided to try to install the priiloader again and it crashed. Now, when I turn my Wii on I get a black screen. I've got myself a brick. I've read online and and found others with the same problem. I'm gonna get Nintendo to fix it, they are gonna mail me a label to send it in for a free repair. I'm not ever going to softmod my Wii again.

I've read this again and again....and also read so many people with brick issues so that leaves me scared to start soft modding since I am still a newbie to all this, if i brick this wii my husband will kill me ha!
am i just being unconfident and silly?
