do i need to clear out my SD card and put those .wad files on there? or can i just leave everything on?
edit: I put those wad files on, started the wad manager, and the only files I can install are:
neogamma R8 b7.wad

Leave your SD card AS IS.. Nothing needs to be removed or cleaned AFAIK.
Those two .wads need to be placed in the WAD directory of the SD card.

installed the wads. got the system menu back! now, do I install the priiloader from homebrew channel again?
and no one ever answered my question.. should that hacks.ini file be a .txt? what do I do since I'm on a mac?

yeah just copy the file to your notepad and save it as hacks.ini then move to proper directory...so you do have your wii menu back? where did you find the wads?

macs don't have "notepad" though. I saved it as a txt file thru word. will that work?
edit: didn't work. can someone give me a step by step on what to do with the system hack codes please?

Terrific.. Look over my post again. I highly recommend you get the installer.dol that I linked to and put that in /apps/Priiloader v0.1 - rename the existing boot.dol to old_boot.dol and rename Installer.dol to boot.dol.
You must get the hacks.ini going. Lemmee see I got a mac too (and Windows)...
Just try it with the mac text editor. I think the Wii will read the line endings correctly. Notepad is only mentioned because most people use Windows.

i did try textedit at first and i dont think it worked, but i'll try again (along with the installer.dol etc) and let you know. thanks for all your help.

I believe we did that but (in my case anyway) it didn't help. So I had to reload IOS70 and the system menus.
