do i need to clear out my SD card and put those .wad files on there? or can i just leave everything on?

edit: I put those wad files on, started the wad manager, and the only files I can install are:
    IOS249.WAD
    USB_Loader_GX_r815.wad
    neogamma R8 b7.wad

Leave your SD card AS IS.. Nothing needs to be removed or cleaned AFAIK.

Those two .wads need to be placed in the WAD directory of the SD card.

yeah just copy the file to your notepad and save it as hacks.ini then move to proper directory...so you do have your wii menu back? where did you find the wads?

Terrific.. Look over my post again. I highly recommend you get the installer.dol that I linked to and put that in /apps/Priiloader v0.1 - rename the existing boot.dol to old_boot.dol and rename Installer.dol to boot.dol.

You must get the hacks.ini going. Lemmee see I got a mac too (and Windows)...

Just try it with the mac text editor. I think the Wii will read the line endings correctly. Notepad is only mentioned because most people use Windows.

I believe we did that but (in my case anyway) it didn't help. So I had to reload IOS70 and the system menus.

But yes, it helps to check that simple setting first.
