Im really desperate in getting a solution..

Like most i had issues with getting the ios249 uninstalled. pack 1 2 and 3 didnt work, so i had to try the alternative way. Putting all the files on a clean sd, and after renaming the tbrboot.dol on my sd card to boot.dol, i just cant it to run on my wii. The truncha bug restorer wont start, all i get is a black screen.

I installed HBC and bootmii with the bannerbom method. Did nothing else after that, except following the guide.

    It's a black wii with 4.2

    Plz help

    Greetz

    4.2u issue

    Hey Guys,
This is my first post and am really needing some help. I have a 4.2u menu wii. I used bannerbomb to install hbrc. I have burned nsmb.iso to a dvd and it wont play. what do i need to do to get it working? any help would be appreciated. i have neogamma 7r.wad, though i cannot execute it, to play the game. I am on the right path or am i totally wrong. please help.

Try playing it with Neogamma R7 or R8, it worked for me. If it still doesn't work look in the forum, there's a fix for the iso.

Just got a brand-new Wii with system menu 4.2U (S/N: LU73xxxxxx). Tried to follow Messie's guide but could not go past Part B (actually got redirected to ShadowSonic2's guide which worked extremely well. Installed cIOS without a hitch. Thanks a million for the guide!

    A nice Xmas present!

    I have 4.2u menu

For me everything is fine until I get to this step

    4) Load up homebrew, then Dop-IOS v8 (not from bootmii) Keep pressing right until you find IOS53 and press A to select yes to install and Sig Hash Check. Do the same for IOS55 and IOS70. Next press home to return to homebrew channel.

the wii tell me it can't find the files and that they will be downloaded from the internet, and then it freeze saying INITIALIZING NETWORK.

I have my wii connected throught Ethernet and it's been fine all the time.

    ----------------------------------------------
I can't find this file in SD card.
trying to download it from internet...
Patchmii Core by bushing et. al
    Initializing Network.......
    ---------------------------------------------

Ok. I just have everything working fine, the issue here is that the internet via ethernet is not working with Dop-IOS v8 so I unplug the ethernet adapter open my wireless connection and connected the wii to my home network. And everything works Fine!

    Thank you!!!

I'm having trouble with the step that says "select IOS222 and press A to delete. Do the same for IOS223, IOS249 and IOS250". The only one of these I actually see listed is 250. Why aren't the others showing up? Do I even need to delete them?

thanx for any help in advance.
