Ok, I'm almost there but step 8 is lacking detailed instructions, it feels rushed.

What do I pick in NAND emulator devices?
    &
    Select Source Device

    I pick sd/hdsdor usb
    &
    wii Sd slot

and I get error: Mounting device , please wait ERROR! (ret = -1)

2nd question where can I find some kind of list of all or at least most popular/best apps to install (are they called wads?) like the usb loaders etc? (I was trying to load uloader and it told me that I was missing some kind of ios or cios, I know that uloader is not included with this package)

    TIA

Nand emulation - Disabled --- Source device -- Wii SD slot.

For the Ret -1 error see the error index.

    Uloader Requires Hermes cIOS.
    Damn I suck!!!!

    Step 8 - Backup Launchers
Pre-Note: If you have a newer Wii, it probably has the D3-2 Drive which prevents you from loading DVD Backups. This means you'll have to use a USB Loader

    a) Load WAD Manager from Homebrew Channel, navigate into the wad folder and highlight either USB_Loader_GX_r929.wad or Neogamma_R9_beta10.wad. (Neogamma for Disc loading and USB Loader for USB HDD loading.)
Having trouble understanding how to load/install WADs from WAD Manager. The package I downloaded from this post only allows me to select an ISO from the wad manager...then a wad from a folder to install... To install the USB_Loader and other wads do I first need to select an ISO??? or is there something possibly wrong with the version of WAD Manager on my system... As mentioned before I am using the file package from this post which includes WAD Manager 1.5...

You have everything you need. Just select IOS249 to use during the install and then select the wad you want to install.

Just bought a wii in europe, came with 4.2E, read this wonderful guide, and everything seem to be working top notch, except for a few game freezes.

    Thank You
