Thank you very much
(last ofic. update WII 01.12.09, 02.12.09 hack according this directions and worked
I just got finished using this tutorial. I was using the one for the 4.2 menus that is listed in the tutorial section, but after not being able to uninstall the ios249.wad in step c of that tutorial, i followed the link to here.
I followed this word for word and everything installed the way it is supposed to. Once I try to boot a disc through neogamma, i get a 1101 disc error.
What do I need to do to fix this? I know it isn't the disc, because I have another 4.2 wii here at the house that plays them fine. I just didn't have to go through these steps to flash it, since I had already that one flashed before I upgraded to 4.2.
The wii that I am having problems with is about a year and a half old and originally came with the 3.3 wii firmware. The serial code is a lu62.
From Messie's error index.
DVD Read Error Bad burn/media or incorrect cios/neogamma version. If you are already using Verbatim DVD-R burned at 4x, try switching to neogamma6 and cios36rev10. Also this error will persist on newer wiis, meaning that they hav the new D3-2 chip which cannot read backups at all. Only option for them is USB loading.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttt works with 4.2e thx, finally some one who knows what he's talking abute.
your download link appears to be broken.
4) Load up homebrew, then Dop-IOS v8 (not from bootmii) Keep pressing right until you find IOS53 and press A to select yes to install and Sig Hash Check. Do the same for IOS55 and IOS70. Next press home to return to homebrew channel.
Followed the tutorial 2 the tee. After clicking the DOP-IOS it just shows a black screen. What is the solution to fix this?
It isn't the media, check my post out about it....
how do i downgrade the cios on 4.2?
