    This worked great for me

    2 questions:

1)Do I need the files on the SD card anymore? Should I hang on to them just in case?
    2)Can I play PAL games?

    1. You should hang onto the NeoGamma folder and wad manager in the /apps folder. Neo Gamma R8 or newer has become somewhat SD card-dependent.
    2. Neo Gamma and USB Loader GX (and likely others) has support for out of region games; check the settings/options in the loader.

Thanks. I'll check USB Loader when I get home. Do you know if it is a one time setting or will I have to change it each time I want to play a NTSC game or PAL...

Trying to setup the system as basic as possibly so my girlfriend can use it.

To be honest, I do not recall. I stick to my own region. I do know USB Loader GX for settings (not necessarily all) feature a global or individual setting. Neo Gamma in this regard I'm totally out of my depth... I think they're global only, not sure. If I'm in error on this, I welcome the correction(s).

wifi is required for the 4.2u mod. if no connection is available, there should be a section on the first page, in the steps, that will link to the files you need to download and how to install them.

Step 3 - Restoring The Bug Into IOS36
Pre-Note: If you have no working Wi-Fi Connection, you can try selecting 'Load iOS from SD Card' instead of 'Download from NUS'
wasnt trying to give out bad info, but this section should be clarified since there is no link to download any files. 'try' insinuates that it might or might not work.

again, not trying to come off as rude or abrasive, just going by what i see.

Ya, It shouldn't say "try".....anyways...the only file missing from the pack that is needed for Offline install is IOS38-64-v3867.wad for the install of cIOS38 Rev17. I will mention it.
    Damn I suck!!!!
