    Yes, same error still.
But when I just plugged the SD card then, I clicked no to loading boot.elf, should I have pressed yes(even tho I did this the first time?)

    UPDATE:

On the instructions it says to select IOS249, Press A, choose WAD installation/Accept
On page one of this guide it says to choose Choose IOS36.
I have been selecting IOS36 which happens to be the first option on screen(no need to scroll), or should I use IOS249 (On the on-screen instructions guide?)
    Thanks

Backup and Full format your SD to fat32 . Download this...CB2_BB2_Cios38-r17-installer.zip
Extract the contents to the ROOT of your SD card.
Start your wii, click the SD Icon on the wii menu. Load boot.dol/elf.
cIOS Installer starts. Try installing again.

I read most of your previous posts...this is what your trying to do right? Install ciOS38Rev17? This is just something to try. Sounds like a compatibility issue or folder/file structure problem though.
    Damn I suck!!!!

OK thanks. I'll start that now but on the post before yours I updated something I noticed that could be causing the problem, can you please check if that could be whats causing the problem? Thanks

edit: I can't don't have option to choose IOS249 anyway, ill try your suggestion.
So I have downloaded this new file, do I select IOS36? It was on IOS70. It says it will be installed as IOS249, is this corrent?
(I can't tell if I am in the install installing cIOS249-rev17 section because it just loaded the Select IOS screen but assume I am.

If your referring to installing cIOS38 rev 17 then you will need to choose a trucha singed IOS for installation. So if you did Step 3 right then you can use IOS36 for the installation.
    Damn I suck!!!!

    Having trouble

I made it all the way to step 7. When I use the WAD manager it won't let me disable the WII SD slot. It only gives me the option to use it or a USB device. When I go ahead with sd slot enabled it only says that .DS_Store is available. It will not let me do anything else.

Yup. PM me a sys check. Download from Wiibrew.org. Run Via HBC. It will output a file to your SD card. Open in word pad and copy to PM.

The only problem so far is when I run Priiloader from the HBC, I hit + to install and it says

    Logged in as "su"!
    Got ROOT!
    Checking for Priiloader...
    Priiloader not found, aborting mission...

I'm not sure whether or not it is ok to skip that step or not, but if anyone has the .wad or etc. for the priiloader in the guide, please help a brother out

I downloaded the pack from the guide, and hence my question about the lack of priiloader.
Well I got that figured out. You need to hold B and then press + to launch the priiloader install. Now thats all taken care of, I have another problem now. I'm using a 200gig Maxtor One Touch II and have shrunk the existing volume, created a new raw volume and have it active and primary, used WBFS manager, formatted it, and installed 2 games on it. I just tried Mario Galaxy 2, and the game will randomly freeze from 5 to 15 minutes into gameplay; usually during a "disc read". Anyone else experience this? Going to try Red Steel 2 next and see if it isnt game-specific...
