You did the 4.1 or 4.2 mod? If you updated to 4.2, you will have to do this entire tutorial. Wad manager should default to IOS 249 if done correctly (on a 4.2 mod, this would include unstubbing the IOS and successfully installing the cIOS aka IOS 249 --- after trucha-enabling IOS 36).

If your Wii is @ 4.2, you must do this entire tutorial as 4.2 is a homebrew killer and has rendered all your hard work useless as it stands now.

Sweet thanks for the walk through, now the big test backups, of course the ones i already own.

Also does this work with gc as well??

Oh there is a new usb loader out for using you're iso's on memstick, or usb.

USB Loader v1.0: load Wii backups from USB storage

After you softmod your Wii, you will have to install a cMIOS to play backup GC discs, currently GameCube only loads from disc, not from USB Loader. Look in my signature to install cMIOS.

No, that is not a new usb loader, that is the first usb loader that was released in march of last year (did you notice the date of the post in that link?). You may want to try USB Loader GX, Configurable USB Loader, WiiFlow, or uLoader. And, if you have a new Wii purchased with about the last 6 months, your Wii may have a D3-2 DVD drive in it, which will make any backup discs unplayable, that means only retail Wii and gamecube game discs will work in your Wii.

    Ca

OK thanks again, stilll new at the modding thing with the wii, last thing i modded was my psp, i still consider it to be the easiest though.

Well i don't really need it, the uloader worked fine for me. Still cool that you can load games from the usb stick, I'll try that out soon while i get more familiar with wiimoding.

    Sticks to the basics first,
