Well I am at a loss. I have re-run Part B many times, going through each one of the IOSs. The system locks up on all of them except for 36, but at the end of uninstalling, I get error messages on everything.

Is it possible 249 is locked and I can not remove it? If this is the case, what can I do?

Again, to reiterate, I just purchased a NEW Wii a few days ago. 4.0u was already installed. I connected to the internet, and it automatically downloaded 4.2u. I was able to install HBC 1.0.5, then upgrade to 1.0.6 with no problems.

This must be a simple fix, but me being new with the Wii, currently the resolution is eluding me.

    Baffled!

you have to follow step C in the wiihack tutorial and install without the ios first, once restart go back and change it to ios250 and install that. Once you done that do it again but this time change it to ios249 and install it. Then you can go back into HBC to install WAD, USB Loader, ect...Try it this way and see.

Mongstar - I think you are thinking of another scam company that uses a product name close to the name Wiibrew.org does not charge and is the Homebrew site that warns against paying. They do take donations if you want;-)

    WiiBrew
