Could someone please confirm something for me..

I used this softmod a while ago.
It has Neogammer in the mod somewhere, I have seen it.
In order to play backups discs do I just have to run the Neogammer program which was included in the softmod, probably in the HB.?

    TIA.

I have read the guide, but just to be sure, this works with 4.3U right?

Well apparently you didn't read the guide title. Do you see 4.3 in it?

    Try this one

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...mod-guide.html

Or this one, either one will work, and are pretty much the same.

The big lettered title should have given it away. But a little down the list is the 4.3 and Softmod any Wii guides. You almost got it, but the sarcastic comments should make you a bit more aware next time you post...lol. Good luck with your mod, go slower and make sure to read EVERYTHING.

There is a good chance that you will have 4.3 on your Wii. You should use the 4.3 guide in my signature. You could also use Softmod ANY Wii (also in my sig), but the 4.3 guide is more specific to 4.3 users. If you end up with 4.2, I suggest you use Sofmod ANY Wii instead of this one. This is a good guide, but like I said, it is somewhat outdated.
don't you think it's time to close this thread and point the newbies to the latest guide on softmodding their wii. i must admit that this is a good guide. this is the guide i used to update my wii.

I'd just like to thank the OP and everyone who contributed to this thread, it has been a great help. I have a quick question, I had backed up my nand, but never saved it to my computer. Is it possible for me to still do that without messing anything up? Thanks in advance!

    1. get into HBC, launch BootMii and re-do a NAND backup with a 1GB sd card, again
    2. after finishing NAND backup, move the sd card and make a save to ur computer.
    3. lock either the sd card, or the pc file in a secure place for ur safe (e.g. CD copy)

Thanks Billy, went I went to load bootmi(IOS) it just gives me a black screen and remote won't connect. Any suggestions? The card I'm using is the same card I modded the wii with. All my other SD cards can't be recognized by the wii. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I get tired of saying this...Bootmii does not use the Wii Remote. It uses the POWER/RESET/EJECT buttons on the Wii.

As for your black screen, it is probably caused by an incorrect video setting. Delete your bootmii folder, download bootmii.zip , and follow the instructions in the zip file.
