Go to Walmart (or any video game store) and buy an official Nintendo 2GB Sandisk card for roughly $10. They have full compatibility with all homebrew apps, including bootmii.
all three SD Cards I used are by Sandisk
no other steps gave me any glitch period.. everything was smooth.. so I don't suppose that it's the SD card
They are same manufacture as nintendo
    SanDisk Extreme III 4GB - failed 222
SanDisk Extreme II 8GB - used to back up NAND
    SanDisk regular 256mb - failed 222

They are good quality SD cards.. I don't see why it would not work

It's just they way things are. Just because they are made my SanDisk (which I agree is a good brand), that doesn't mean they will work. It's the model number that matters. A lot of homebrew doesn't work with cards over 2GB, SDHC cards, or micro/mini SD cards with an adapter.

The white SD cards with the Nintendo stamp on the cover work completely. The 1GB and 2GB model both work.

The model is important. There are about a billion posts on wiihacks related to incompatible SD cards. There isn't a full list, but here is a partial list of tested SD cards for the HBC. Go here for a bootmii list. Keep in mind that those lists probably have some flaws.

The SanDisk ones are recommended because they are widely available, cheap, and fully compatible.

I suggest you get the SD card and start over with mauifrog's Softmod ANY Wii guide.
