Ok so i've been having problems modding my 2nd Wii. This Wii was already softmodded and I couldn't get it to load from teh USB Loader so I tried following the guide I used on the first Wii I modded. I am @ C7. There is no option to load off the SD CARD. I tried restarting from steps B. After doing so when I get to B8 I get ret -1017 Error. I ran SYSCHECK, and will post the results below. Thanks for any help!

    Hacked wii 4.2 updateded

    Hi

I have a wii version 4.2 that was hacked, my partner updated it when see was playing the new rockband game and it is in version 4.2e now. The loader was working fine, but now it does start but just black screen. Yes everything is connected as before update and was working. Can you tell me what I have to do to get this working again. Do I need to do all the homebreew install again or just the usb loader?

    Regards
    Stefan

Usb loader wouldnt work because you havent got a cios. See the stub at 249 slot. That renders it useless.
hmmm cioscorps - Have you thought about uninstalling it? http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...i-console.html

Thanks for the reply. So if I understand you correctly, any time there is 'stub' at each IOS there is no CIOS? Any guide you recommend for that? Also do you recommend me uninstalling cisocorp before I do anything else?

CiosCorps just causes problems and messes with your ios' ( See all the rev no. 65535) ... You can play all your backup discs through neogamma etc so in my o/p you should remove it. Plus it might even get rid of those errors lol. Look at Mauifrogs mod any wii guide for modding although this guide works it is outdated.... But do yourself a favour and remove cioscorps first..
