That's what they make the Error Index for (hint: you failed to reintroduce the trucha bug).
when i try to install IOS70-64-v6687 [Patched][FreeTheBug].wad wad manger says >>install ticket...ERROR! (ret = -2011) does it matter if im installing it in wad manger channel
So can I ask you what are the steps for installing usb loader with a LU64+ 4.2E system? Not sure what your getting at here...All wiis can be softmodded. You are correct that new Wiis can't play dvd-r backups but yes they can use a usb loader. Bootmii can be installed on any Wii, either as an IOS or as boot2. If it is a new Wii, the only option is to install as an IOS.
After you softmod with this guide follow the usb loading link in my signature.
NOOB: i think i semi-bricked my wii and i have bootmii and priloader installed. when i turn on my wii, priloader comes up and then i use it to go to my system menu. after that everything works fine and yes i upgraded my wiiflow to the latest version and installed a wad that came with it. how do i get it to work normally again without having to use priloader to get to the system menu?
that worked for me...thanks
I've been a long time follower of this thread, and I finally got the equipment needed to perform this guide for myself. However, i'm having issues with B5.
i was able to run all the steps for part A ok, with the exception of having to install the latest version of bootmii, as my SD card wouldn't work without it. I'm guessing this is what might be causing the issues....
Anyways, i've downloaded the packs mentioned in step B1 (although I replace the 3 files in the bootmii folder, armboot, bootmii, and ppcboot.elf, with the updated version of Bootmii) with the old version of bootmii, when I selected it in HBC it would just go to a blank screen and sit.
Anyways, after i'm in HBC and select Bootmii as in step B4, bootmii just loads and takes me to its main menu with the 4 icons.
Wad Manager doesn't start, and I can go to the SD icon in bootmii to see the files, but clicking on them just gets an error? Any suggestions or help? or further info needed?
would booting directly to wad manager fix this? If so how do i go about setting that up, thanks
