The sd card root looks exactly as what he asks for in step 2 or step b.

You must launch BootMii by pressing the HOME button.

I tried installing bootmii as sd card, I prepared the card but it dnt let me install using the sd so I only installed hbc and dvdx. I guess I should go back and install bootmii as ios? Nd then go to hbc, start it and press the home button and select bootmii?
    Thanks a lot

You must install BootMii as an iOS if this is the only option availible. Newer Wii models can't install BootMii as Boot2 because of an updated version of Boot1.

Go back to the HackMii Installer, install BootMii as an iOS.
Extract downloaded files from step 2 to your SD card again.
Go to the Homebrew Channel, click on HOME and launch BootMii.

I made it all the way through the guide and everything works great except when I have to turn the Wii off and back on, it goes black on me. It took me some time to figure it out but if I remove the SD card first, turn it on and then reinstall the SD card back in everything is great again. One other thing that I noticed is if I press the power button to turn the Wii off, it turns orange instead of red. The only way I can get it to go red is to hold it down or unplug it

I tried to run it from the very beginning but the same results. I've been driving myself crazy trying to figure out how to fix this and I have been reading more then 100 pages but I still can't find any answer.

Any idea of how to fix this?
    Thanks in advance

    hi there

i'm having problems on step d5

"D5) You can now install ios202, ios222, ios223. From HBC, run cios222 installer and select ios249 to use. At the next screen, choose the following, one at each turn:
-ios202, for usb - using ios38 (needed for USB2.0 support at Media Players)
-ios222, for uloader - using ios38 (needed for USB support of instruments and stuff)
-ios223 mainly for GH5 - using ios38 merged with 37 (same as above)
    "

When I follow the bold seccion above and press acept nothing happens.

what can I do to solve this?

    thanks

The light on the wii will turn orange if you have Wii connect 24 turned on as this is standby mode

    Loading screen issues

    HI

I have been searching for an answer to this question for about 2 days now and i can't find an answer to the problem. In several games when an event just finished and the game is loading the next event it usually turns the screen black and then the event starts again, but not for me.

In almost every game i load with usb loader gx (now using the latest rev.) it freezes on that loading screen.
(In smg2, the game freezes several times and always when i'm at "Spin Dig Galaxy" after the boss when mario has reached for the star, and then the game freezes in the black loading screen. I have done everything the guide says even the 002/black screen fix)
this happens in other games as well, such as "paper mario" and "Zelda"

I'm using a iPod Video 60GB that is confirmed to work, but i may think it could be the problem

I hope someone knows the answer to my question

    [uisng cIOSX rev19]

    Thx in advance!

This issue has nothing to do with this guide. If you can play backups at all, this softmod process was sucessful and there is no need to post a question here in this thread. In addition, black screens or game frezzes are well known issues and there is info all over the forums about it. Also this guide doesn't use cios rev19, so whatever you are doing has nothing to do with this guide.
