Good luck towncar, I had responded to you in the other softmod thread, but now that you have updated to 4.2, there are fewer alternative BannerBomb files. You may have to use a non-BannerBomb exploit to get HBC installed. Try Indiana Pwns or SmashStack. As you have have shown little patience forwaiting for experienced help, reading for understanding, and have only worsened your situation, you might want to consider using a WODE or SunDrive HD-check out the Modchip Forum area. Those are easier to install and maintain. Even if you successfully softmod your Wii, I am afraid you might continue to run into serious problems with protecting, updating, and maintaining that softmod. You might do better with a hardware solution.
Thanks for the guide. Everything works great. Ive successfully played about 50 different games loaded by HDD or WAD manager, even when i bought SMG2 i just loaded it thru neogamma to bypass the update warning. Thanks alot.
Sorry for noobing but I have followed the guide line by line for my 4.2u and everything worked except the installation of priiloader. It seemed to have installed correctly but does not load into priiloader. I have also tried the power off/reset+power but without any luck. Can anyone help out a noob?
i have used this on a updated 4.2 wii which was virgin and although it has worked some games are playing in black and white only ihave tryed another neogamma version 8 and changed it to plat ntsc to no joy i know one of the game is ntsc for definate any ideas is it a wad problem or have i done something wrong
ok i did everything u said to do and my neogamma works but its not reading my disks i use it keeps sayin dvd read error 1048. how do i get games to work on it?
Try a different Rev of Neo Gamma1048, 1053 & 1101:
DVD Read Error Bad burn/media or incorrect cios/neogamma version. Also this error will persist on newer wiis, meaning that they have the new D3-2 chip which cannot read backups at all. Only option for them is USB loading.
Have a look here http://www.wiihacks.com/software-bac...-channels.html
