Non of the three packs posted(for removel of stub ios249)are working for me.They all display three errors(exept pack three wich simply refuses to load).when i try to remove the stub. The errors are all the same code (ret =-1017)one for ticket, one for title contents and one for title.I have referenced the 1017 error and was redirected to the 2011 error solution.I have downloaded tbr and followed instructions as posted.and now i am recieving a message saying that the volume cant be set to zero and that the downgrade of ios15 has failed.I can find no suggestions as to what to try next, nor any possible solutions.realy in need of help here.Im on wii version 4.2e.Sombody please help me.

i have incuded them, install them if you want. you run cios222 installer, choose 249 and choose to install 202, using 38, ios222 using 38, ios223 using 38 merged with 37

pappag, thet reminds me i have also to update my error guide...

oh right, i couldn't see it in the Original Post maybe I'm blind :P

Although you contradict another guide that suggests:

    # Select to Install Custom IOS 222 and select IOS38 merged with IOS37
    # Wait for download and installation to complete
    # Start HomeBrew Channel and start the cIOS 222 Installer again
    # Select IOS249 to perform the install again
    # This time select Custom IOS 223 and select IOS38 merged with IOS60
    * IOS223 gives you an alternative option for merged IOS in this way. It is exactly the same as IOS222 otherwise.
    * Experiment with other merges or not merging at all if neither of the options provided here work for you.
Not saying you're wrong here... just curious to why that guide suggests merging the 222 with 38 and 37 && 223 with 38 and 60?

    it's an old method?

    HBC without the mess?

    Here's a quick question.

I have a modchip already installed in my LU65 model wii, I'm running Firmware version 3.4U. I don't want to install any neogamma or backup launchers. I would simply like to install the homebrew channel itself, or if not even that, just be able to install VC WAD's as channels. Can this be done without making any potentially dangerous modifications to my wii?

Wii Friend Code: (Don't have one yet)
Favorite Game: Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3

Got a question? I might have the answer! PM me if you need some help!

    Ca

Did the same mistake to update my wii to 4.2 from 3.4 this morning (teach me to be more carfull when i don't have my morning coffee) and lost access to my usb loader + hard drive backup games.

Did all steps in this thread and got my usb loader and hard drive to work again.

Messie, you freakin rock! everything is back to normal with 4.2U installed. Merci beaucoup!

[all of that because i wanted to update the internet channel, geez]

no i told you the standard configuration. You may use whatever ios you want, install teh other if you want. I have never used an instrument, so dunno which will make them work. Mind it needs internet connection

Actually, as you will see when you try to install them, it is a ctually "install ios222 using 38 merged with 37" it is pretty clear, you can t miss it

Smile NeoGamma and USB Loader running

Hi, I'm really new to homebrew on Wii and I just bought mine this week, but thanks to your guide now I can load backups.

For me worked the third pack for deleting the stub ios249 and the fist pack to install the cIOS38.

    Thanks.

I burned an .ISO of Dead Space Extraction and I don't have any audio.

Its the only game out of 4 this happened to.

Did I forget something? I used the NeoGamma app while in the Homebrew Channel, its the only app I have used.

Do I need to use another app for an audio patch? I saw on the NeoGamma while booting the disc, 'AudioPatch' said 'No'
