Hi, mate, great guide, made very easy to follow, I loved it (as compared to other guides which I was unable to follow)
Now, my problem is that whenever i try to load a game through neogamma i get the dvd read error (1048) and I already checked whether my wii had that new dvd chip which doesn't allow reading dvds against that list in your signature and it would seem that it does not have it. I already tried a few differently burned dvds of the same game (that would be Prince of Persia: Rival Swords) and all of them returned the same error. Also, for some reason I am unable to install the wad file of NeoGamma through WadManager, it simply does not give the option to install it (i assume it can't see the file or something)
Many cheers, and I'll be incredibly happy if I get a reply of this, which judging by the way you've managed this topic so far I guess I will. Btw, I ran a few google searches including this specific error as a que and no solution seems to be found. Thanks a million!

I'm stuck at D6 when installing the "IOS70-64-v6687 [Patched][FreeTheBug].wad". During the installation it errors on "Installing content #06... ERROR! (ret = -1022).
What should I do if I would like to install this hacked IOS? I'd like to play VC games and have the priiloader backup thingie!
EDIT: Hmm... Should I restore the IOS70 somehow?

do not mess with ios70 other than installing it!
probably your memory is full. did you install any wiiware/VC stuff?
12-12-2009, 04:36 AM
No, I didn't install any WiiWare or VC stuff yet. I wanted to complete this manual first.
But I did the installation of the IOS223 two times... I installed to IOS38 and then noticed I should have installed to IOS38 merged with IOS37.
But besides this issue, the installation of the previous steps went fine.
EDIT: Oh, I also installed USB Loader GX as a channel (at IOS249)
2nd EDIT: I rebooted my Wii, cleared my SD-card, put the contents of the first package back on the SD and tried again. This time it worked! Thanks for the quick reply though, I really appreciated the almost instant aid!

I have searched the forums but cannot find anything that will assist me to get by this black screen. Tried the bootmii sd card thing but nothing happened. My bootmii was installed as an IOS so that might be why it doesn't work. Still trying to get a gamecube controller to try that.
