I am having great trouble getting USB to work. I have got everything working on V4.2 except USB. My drives work on other wii's and have worked on this one in the past so compatability is not a problem. I have done all the steps of the guides and completed everything except when trying to run the "Title Deleter" I can not delete IOS222. 223. 249, or 250. When I attempt to do so I get errors and the attempt fails.
My problem with USB loaders is they hang waiting for my slow USB device to respond. Once again the drives I am using are known good.
ANY Ideas on how to fix this problem????

I can load with Neogamma with copied disk and originals. everything works except USB. I have tried everything and I am luck I haven't bricked it yet.

ethan9987, you don't need to use verbatim, go to walmart and pick up MEMOREX DVD-R 4.7GB, NOT DVD+R, I've been running GC backups no prob, and to further avoid problems I would only suggest getting backups for your region NTSC-J, NTSC-U or PAL, and to further that again I would only suggest burning ONE(1) game per DVD(basically it comes down to being a $ or less per game. I have 4.2U via THIS guide, I ran a PAL game and it doesn't work so I'm not gonna piss about with other PAL games but, so far I have 4 NTSC-U GC games and they run perfect. You may also want to try other backup launchers and you may also want to research MIOSPATCHER and get a cMIOS, they are usually all in the same general download area, where you find one, you'll usually find the others. Side note - I haven't tried Wii backups yet on my DVD-R's but, I'm pretty sure they'll work just fine!

-- next2sin -- , did you let it boot up using bootmii as boot2? that was the easiest way for me! and just to be safe, i saved my sd card files on the pc, wiped the sd card, then put the second pack on the sd card and the wii should load automatically for you to uninstall ios249, if it's not doing that you might want to uninstall bootmii as boot2 and install it as an ios, then you'll have to go to your HBC, hit the home button and go to bootmii it should go to wad manager - remember to turn off wii, put in the sd card and then turn the wii back on. also, did you try the other packs? there are 3 packs offered as an alternative for step B(pack 2). also, if your friends wii came with 4.2x when it was purchased, that might alter things but, i don't know.. research! remember this also, each time you put a new pack on the sd card make sure you take everything else off of it, you don't want the system to try and boot 2 different things at once, and once that is all finished you can put pack 1 back on the sd card for the apps that it came with or find your own! best regards!
