Ok just runned the part C and loaded with no problem at all. You should change ios249 all the way to the left until the thing says "Do not reload ios" and select wad installation, it worked for me fine. Also, detach every single device you have except for the SD card (GC controllers, mem cards, usb)

Thanks for the great work you have done here. It seems you have made things simple enough. I am running a softmodded LU64 with 4.0. Do you think it is worth upgrading to 4.2 and doing this guide or should I just sit put for a while?
Was also wondering about this: http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-custom-s...ader-lu64.html I have preloader installed via that method. Would I be able to install preloader again on 4.2 with LU64? Am quite worried about not having a safety net you know.
Thanks for your help.

still got the same error, with WAD installation too.
look, if i will not choose "Do not reload ios" so the console will stuck, so there is no other option for me.
i also retried part B as you asked.

corriew, it is not recommended to go to 4.2 yet stay where you are.
Dea... i cant really tell what the problem is, it should work normally...try once more and select ios36...
see also this, it s the same in general, but see if you can get sth out of it
pls report back if you do it.

Step B? what are you referring to? did you try normal wadmanager from HBC first? did you format the SD card?

i retried part B again and seems like i installed the wad file insted of uninsralling it,
now when i am tring to uninstall it i got "ret = 1017" error.
