    more startpatch errors

okay, so I tried to install startpatch again, this time it was telling me that I had cIOS250! so I used AnyTitleDeleter to remove cIOS250.

Now when I try running it, it tells me that I don't have an iso250 installed! and it won't install (startpatch won't install). How can I reinstall ios250? Apparently I need this to run Startpatch.

And don't tell me to follow the steps in "D" above, because all that is done. Everything else is installed and running fine - backups, external hard drive, etc...

nevermind, just ran it again, back to square one: cIOS250 installed error -106 ISFS... bla bla bla

Hi guys, thanks for the guide, respect for all of you.

Just to share that on Part B, it worked this way for me:

B3) Place the SD card in the wii, start HBC and press home at the main HBC screen. Select shutdown

    B4) Turn ON your wii

(edit) PS: I sucessfully installed bootmii as boot2. running a LEH.

Yeah.....see that's the thing. I tried to select different IOS numbers, but after I touch any button on the wiimote, it dies/loses sync. That's why I was wodering if a hardwired device like a GC controller might do the trick. I have read other posts about similar issues from other modderz, but they have not posted any solutions. Just thought the gurus here might have some insight for me. If not, I will continue to plug away on my own. Thx.

make sure you're connected to your network (the little icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen on the homebrew channel should be lit white)

    stuck on bricked wii

Hello guys my current problem is as follows , i have a wii which was 4.1U and sunday accidentally updated to 4.2U , well i had the newest HBC so after the firmware update i still was able to see the HBC and to use it, i also was able to see the neogamma v7 channel , i couldn't run games anymore so i followed this toturial well i only followed part A4) and only this part

">>Those who had previously (before the update) installed ios249 may have a chance to play backed up games easily. They should run cios38rev14 installer from Homebrew Channel and use ios250. if that does not work, try running it again, but using one of the following : ios202, ios222,ios223,ios249.Then you can proceed to D. If one of these does not work either, you should have to do the following:"...

so after reinstalling the cios38rev14 i was able to run games only from neogamma channel, i wasn't able to run games from the Disc Channel , so i went to the sofmodding pack from tutorial 3.1-4.1 and took the files and i placed those files into my sd card , i ran HBC and ran Preloader ,and then my wii bricked , im able to get into preloaded menu by holding power and reset but im not able to get into HBC from preloader nor to remove any menu hacks it finds none , is there any way for my to unbrick my wii ?

any ideas are more than welcome guys

Your softmod looks OK and your English is fine. The DVDs you burned aren't good. Use Verbatim DVD-R, burn your game backups using ImgBurn at a burn speed of 4X, if still no good burn at 2.4 or 2X.

    Thaks messie for the guide.

I followed it and everything worked perfectly, load backups from dvd and Hard disk.

But now that preloader is out, i have a problem.

When trying to dop ios 70 wii freezes. I do exactly what is described in D6 but when i do this "select ios70 and press A to install the patches on it" everything freezes (just after pressing A to apply Sig Hash Check).

Same thing happens for ios 36.

I 'm sure I have an internet connection, works fine for everything else.

    Can somebody help?

    Thanks
Dop-IOS v8 is out were you using that? If not, give the newest release a try.
