I was wondering if you needed to keep all of these files on the SD card once everything has been loaded and tested working? I'm just saying, I don't want to if I don't have to.
I also would like to thank everyone for having such an awesome site. I'm pretty new to all of this and have the slightest idea of how this all makes sense... but the great tutorials have made this very understandable. You guys saved me from having to call my bro every 5 minutes to explain it all. Thanks and Cheers

Hi, yes i did the nintento update to 4.2 (from 3.4 i think), just followed your guide From A to C and all went without problems or errors( i still did a nand backup and i got 3 or 4 errors), already installed some virtual console games , all is working ok hbc and mediaplayers. I did not tested yet any game iso, but i will. One thing that wasn't so clear to me is if it's possible to run games from other zones, and if it is brick safe.

Thanks for this info but when I did the install I had no errors. I will try to reinstall cIOS 36 and see what that does but Neogamma runs from the HB channel just cannot load the files from the SD card menu. What cIOS controls the SD card menu. BTW - I find this thread extremely difficult to follow because every page repeats the entire guide. I think you get that when you quote the message in reply and I don't know how to link to the previous post without doing that. Lot of wasted space!

On step A1 when it says GET THIS i clicked on it and downloaded the file from mediafire. well when i try and open the file I downloaded onto my computer it does not open in any sort of file, it tries to open on a new tab but nothing shows. how can i make it into a folder so that i can extract the files that you want me to put on my SD card?
A1)GET THIS and unrar the contents in the root of your SD card. In the root of the SD card whould be:
