Let's just follow the directions for the installer so we don;t have to second guess ourselves later. Here is the link to the IOS38.... IOS38-64-v3610.rar

sweet! it worked! Updated to Rev 14 using the above wad and zip. I could then run the beatles game off the HD, but the guitar, microphone, drums would not connect. I then installed hermes following the directions in the first post and everything went smoothly without the network error I was having before. Then, I loaded up beatles once more and everything worked! Thanks again!

GAF's Wii Homebrew Tutorial: Hermes' Ios222/223

    1. Download NUS Downloader from this page on your PC.
    2. Copy the contents of the NUS Downloader zip file to a directory of your choice (e.g., c:/NUSD_dir) which will be referred to as <NUSD_dir> from now on.
    3. Use NUS Downloader to get IOS37 v3612:
    1. Select title ID 0000000100000025 v3612
    2. Ensure the Pack->WAD option is NOT checked
    3. Click Start NUS Download!
    4. Copy the contents of <NUSD_dir>/0000000100000025v3612/ to sd:/00000001/00000025/V3612/
    4. Use NUS Downloader to get IOS38 v3610:
    1. Select title ID 0000000100000026 v3610
    2. Ensure the Pack->WAD option is NOT checked
    3. Click Start NUS Download!
    4. Copy the contents of <NUSD_dir>/0000000100000026v3610/ to sd:/00000001/00000026/V3610/
    5. Use NUS Downloader to get IOS60 v6174:
    1. Select title ID 000000010000003C v6174
    2. Ensure the Pack->WAD option is NOT checked
    3. Click Start NUS Download!
    4. Copy the contents of <NUSD_dir>/000000010000003Cv6174/ to sd:/00000001/0000003C/V6174/
    6. Continue with the steps of "Installation procedure"

****** You are going to need to create these folders in your sd card, and since you are using USB Loader GX once you have this installed in GX menu you can choose which IOS to use for whatever game you want to play*****

    Black Screen with 222/223

For the life of me, I can't get ios 222 or 223 to work... I have followed the tutorial to the letter and everything installs just fine with no errors, but when I use USB Loader GX and try loading a game using ios 222 or 223 it just goes straight to a black screen. I have already played around with the “002 error” and have set it to every combination of on, off or anti, but still a black screen every time. I've also tried turning on the "block ios reload" but that doesn't work either.
I ripped RB2 and SSBB from the original game disc. The games load up when I select 249, but for RB2 the instruments won’t sync and for SSBB, it goes to a green error after the first fight in single player mode.

I heard from another post that IOS36 is needed. I'm assuming I already have that since I used this tutorial: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...s-any-wii.html and it incorporates the file IOS36-64-v3094

    I'm on 4.1U and using cIOS38 rev14

    Any help is appreciated

Hermes IOS222 and IOS223 will not affect any other IOS. It will overwrite previous installs of IOS222 and 223 if you have installed before. You do not have to install uLoader to use Hermes cIOS. All the other major USB Loaders support IOS222, and some of them support IOS223. I would also install cIOS38 rev14, that is the latest version of IOS249. But if all your games are running and you are happy, that's up to you.
