Installed and working correctly, it should not affect the Wii's ability to continue to play your other backup game discs. It should only add function.

I saw that one person reported booting all games with IOS222 and USB Loader GX with no issues. I myself just use IOS222 to boot any game that uses a microphone or instruments (guitar hero and rock band games, and singing games for the little girl)

i may have missed it, but are we talking about patching the game to use IOS222 and what would be used to load it? I currently use neogamma7.

Do not patch the ISO if you boot from USB HDD. I don't think you can use IOS222 with Neogamma, I have Neogamma r6 and there is no option to boot with an optional IOS. Is it even possible to patch a game to IOS222. You need to find a thread on how to boot GH5 from disc.

not unless your DVD backup launcher has a way of using IOS222 to load the game.

EDIT - hermes cIOS works with Configurable USB Loader, too. Since neogamma can boot from HDD, there should be an option to use an optional IOS (like IOS222) to boot the game, may it will be added in a future release.

CoverFloader also works with this if you have the newest boot.dol from here:

    CF_r970.rar

You will then be able to select the IOS the game boots off of in the game prefrences.

Without this newest hermes patch, RB beatles and GH5 Both boot and run off of 223 with mic, drums and guitars working perfectly.

This works. I do not know how I did it but, I got it to work. Thanks to those that made this possible. My friend soft modded my Wii. I had no idea on what I was doing. It took me some time to figure it out so, if I can do it anyone can! lol

Rock Band stuff works. I've only hooked up the guitar but, I'm sure the mic and drums work too. I ran Rock Band 1, Country Rock Band Track Pack, and Beatles.

    AWESOME!!!

Thanks again guys for putting this together and for the poster who put this on the website.

    Long live Wiihacks!!!!!
