how to run everything from external USB HD
I use Uloader 5.1d with a WBFS partitioned USB hard drive, of course I run RB2 from it...
What do I need to do to download and play all the Music Store songs into the hard drive instead of using an SD card?

Why WOULD you want to update to 4.2? Much more research has been done on 4.1 and 4.2 doesn't offer anything you would want. Plus updating can be risky unless you have taken all the proper steps.

Agreed. It is pointless to update to 4.2, unless you think potentionally bricking your Wii is what you want.

I followed the steps, patched the sZ?E.wad's, and RB2 (running from usbloader gx) told me to go to wii shop channel. I went there and it told me to do a system update. I'm at 4.2U, is there a safe way to update so I can access the shop channel? TIA~~

Ok to solve wii memory issues, I just need to install ciosxrev19 and run the game using 223ios37 under my USBloadergx? Does that mean I need to re-install my dlc wads using 223ios37? Or can I still run RB2 using 249 and not change my wads?

No, if you have installed the wads correctly and the songs showed "Purchased" then you don't need to re-installed any more wads.
What he meant was that LOADING the game with the cios mentioned. After choosing RB2 in whichever USBloader, before you start the game goto to the setting and change the ios for loading the game to 223. Save this setting and start the game.
Of course you must have cios223 installed in the first place.

I confirm everything's working for me, DLC Manager and all.
Remember to update Shop Channel manually, by installing WADs.

I can't get the sZDE wads to install for the life of me. I've done it before, but I install/uninstall the wads a million times and nothing ever works.
