I'm dying to get this working!
I've read through most of the pages in here... And i'm still a bit lost. I have a NTSC Wii Soft Modded using one of the famous tutorials on this site. One thing i don't remember doing was 'hermes'? Is that pretty easy stuff? And does it matter if i USB Load the backup of RB2 NTSC? or does it need to be Burned? or even the official disc?
I know there are probably a few ways to do this. I'm just looking for the easiest and most efficient way to have access to all the DLC. I'm working now so i can't provide all the information on my Wii, i just want a quick tutorial of someone who has had no problems and is playing all recent DLC just fine.
Currently: Usb Loader gx and NeoGamma is working like a charm. I have quite a few games loaded on my HD already. Rock Band is working great. I've already tampered with installing those WAD filees that you can get on Torrent sites, i followed the instructions there.... but the content is still saying "200" and not "Purchased" like i would like it to say.
I believe my Wii Store is set to NTSC as my whole Wii is NTSC. Like i said eariler, i have a NTSC disc.
Is it easier to use PAL for all of this? I can find a PAL disc if needed, and use ARC to change my store to PAL. Just trying to find the best way to accomplish this. I'm sure there are still a bunch of people like me having this same issue. If there is a cool Wiki page i should be looking at. Please let me know.
Rock on Guys, and thanks

I have a hard+soft-modded Pal Wii. I want to change my shop channel's region from Europe to USA so that i can access USA's Music Store. I am trying to remove my pal shop channel account and it asks for the serial number of the Wii. I enter it correctly but it keeps telling me that the serial number i typed was wrong. But I've tried it at least three times.
Have you got any ideas? Could it be the modchip?

I will need you to describe how we, the PAL users do. Because I have installed the wads(got errors though) And when I try playing the game, it connects to internet, but then it says it cant connect to internet, check your internet connection, when connecting to the music store. I have tried both an NTSC version of the game, and an NTSC regionfrii'd to PAL.I have both modded and softmodded my wii. And I really want this to work. PLEASE!

Well im still on 4.0, and I own a legit copy of RB2 and it works perfect still. The only time I have to delete my songs and redownload them is when I update an IOS that needs updating.

Otherwise some songs will still say 200 points if you do it out of order and miss a step or what not.
Then just run it from the disc channel. Also you need a fakesigned IOS 37 to make it work as well, just use DOP-Mii to download the latest version
select all the options it asks for fakesigned and your good to go. But do this BEFORE installing the hacks of course.
hope this helps.

Hey guys i have a question im on 4.2u I installed the 4 rock band dlc wads, i used wad manager and installed them to ios249 and then i updated the system to get the wii store to work. After that usb loader was not working any more, so i reinstalled the 4.2 hacking guide, and now its working fine, and the rock band 2 dlc i working great, i have all of it. Im just wondering what caused usb loader to stop working. The system update of because i installed the wads to 249?

Has anyone been able
to get the Green Day RB2 DLC to work in Green Day: Rock Band using a USB loader? I get the "out of date" message, and I just downloaded them to my SD card the day I got GD: RB. Or am I gonna need the retail disc?

No...Don't ask for links to wads or any other copyrighted material. You may wish to have a look at the Forum Rules.
