Interesting. Is it better to try with an NTSC backup and change the shop channel region?

There is currently ALOT more songs to get if you use the NTSC method
Master DLC List - RawkSD
If you look down the left column on that page and see there are 4 different colour coded sets of DLC, only the red and blue are available if you use the PAL game(and some of the ones in blue arent even out yet)
Where as using the NTSC method gives you every single song in the list

i may be either not up-to-date on the situation, or maybe i installed the given wads incorrectly, but i have installed the sZ(A/B/C/D)E.wad's as is necessary to "get all DLC" from the music shop, but the strange thing is that not everything is listed as purchased.
anyone shed some light on this? is there a new GEN of dlc that's causing items in the music shop to still have a wii points value next to them?

so i'm having a strange problem.
anytime i try to play a song acquired via pc tools on a usb-loaded RB2, i get a message: "Songx is out of date and cannot be restored to wii system memory. To use the add-on content re-download Songx...."
i'm using cios 222-m through configurable USB loader (it's the only way to get my instruments working with USB-loaded-RB2). when i use a retail disc, those pc-tools-downloaded songs work fine. and if i am usb-loaded, songs downloaded from the music-store with the wads applied work just fine, too.
any ideas? i made the mistake of selling my RB2 disc on ebay yesterday. might be buying a new one it seems like.....

mthe1337one, try installing the wads again. Seems to be working fine for everyone else.
The "out of date" error is a known problem when running from USB loader (among the other issues with the USB loading).

Yup. Works great with a retail copy!

well that's the thing because i'm not running the game through USB. i will definitely try out uninstalling/reinstalling the wads though. i specifically read that there were indeed issues with getting dlc to work with a usb-loaded copy which was why i tracked down a legit copy of the game.
