Hey everyone, new poster with my first problem oriented around WAD Manager.

So far, I've gotten all the way through the guide with very little trouble. I read and reread many portions of the 4.3u guide here on Homebrew, installing BootMii, and backing up my NAND (I just really wouldn't be able to afford buying my wife another Wii if I messed it up). It appears I'm now stuck with a problem that I cannot find a solution for.

I was originally getting stuck at the WAD Manager start screen, because the controller wouldn't sync up correctly. I tried all the suggestions of resyncing while in that start screen, but nothing worked. I then borrowed one of the older controllers from a friend of mine, and that got me past the "press A to continue" option. It then stopped syncing up at that point, and neither the new controller nor the old controller are syncing up to get me through the rest of this.

I have Homebrew 1.1.0, and IOS58 v24.32 installed on a 4.3u updated Wii. This is the most recent model hardware Wii, if that helps.

I'm in the process of trying out the older versions of WAD Manager, but I'm not entirely optimistic, so I posted here just in case there's something I missed when searching the forums.

    Thanks,

    Josh

    P.S. - Here's the syscheck

I just had this solved by BluPhant, thank you though. I guess my issue was that I didn't finish up the remaining chapter of the "mod any Wii" guide, and all the CIOS I needed were stubbed still? Now I can backup my copy of SSBB (which is getting preeeeettty beaten up).

I apologize. This thread should have been closed and archived a long time ago. The best app to use would be WiiMod 3.2. Link here: http://www.wiihacks.com/homebrew/784...2-jskyboo.html

Thread closed and moved to archives. WiiMod is the successor to plain jane Wad Manager and can be found in the current "Softmod ANY Wii" guide in the Recommended Guides section of site.
