wii brick blocker ( be safe if your unsure )

I have seen many posts with concerns about people bricking there wii's

what is wii brick blocker ?

It's a small piece of software that enables you to patch an Iso file before you burn it. A Wii DVD consists of 3 partitions, one of them is the update. The WBB modifies these partitions and replaces one of them without any update. You just have to choose your Iso file, and click Patch, it only takes 30sec... After that you can burn your Iso and the game will launch without an update so you will be able to play your import game.

wii brick blocker click here to download

once you have downloaded the application run it and then use it to browse to and patch your iso before burning

    its pretty straight forward

one other way for added protection is to always stay upto date on system updates via your internet connection

just imports as an update from your own region will be fine.

well until nintendo start putting updates to stop people with modchips but i cant see that happening just yet

Definitely only imports. If you have an NTSC-U Wii and NTSC-U Metroid Prime 3, it will not play if you've brickblocked it. Learned that one the hard way and wasted a disk.
