there is nothing wrong with brickblocking a US game, as long as your wii fimrware is current, or at least 3.2

You can always load your iso into WuM (wii update manager) and it will tell you what update is on it, if it's already been brickblocked, then it will say so

i want to point out, if youre using 3.3 or higher you CANT brick block, you must boot in gecko OS, or find another way to block the update, since they fixed the fake sign bug, just wanted to mention it

so you are saying that if we have this FW and burn such brick blocker patched games, if that game fails to play, the reason may not be due to bad DVD media but really be due to the fixed bug......
Or are you saying, the game still plays but the update is not really removed by brick blocker?

I know about WuM and how it may tell you if a game has been patched; however, do we have an idea of what game sharing sites are hosting games that are free of patched games

patched is a case by case thing

and yes if the game is fake signed it will not work on 3.3+ if you dont patch, the game wont work, but it will be patched, you can force boot it in gecko OS or patch it nothing else

    Confused, Please Help!!!

    Hi

I am a total newbie on here and am confused. I just recieved my Wii. I have a d2sun modchip and my Wii firmware is at 3.3U (safe mode upgrade). I have not burned any ISO's yet. Can I or should I use Wii Brickblocker on them with this firmware and setup that I have, or do I need to find someone to downgrade my Wii to 3.2? Thanks in advance

    Dan
