On a v.4.0E I have succesfully downgraded IOS35 with CMDVDX34, but when I passed to next step (WadManager v1.4 by Waninkoko) I don't find the byDefault noticed IOS249 to install "IOS35-64-v1040.wad" (if I choose IOS36, I can install "IOS35-64-v1040.wad" but doesn't serve).

I had passed, before, "shared2clean" (cause Wii was bricked before -"It seems to me..." message).

By the way, after downgrading, version continues being 4.0E, Wii says.

you guys are simply awesome!!! i have been banging my head against the wall for months trying to get this to work, and i just followed this very simple giude, and everything went smoothly on the 1st attempt.

I think my initial problem with the error ret-2011, was that i had some stuff already installed on my sd card that was maybe using or blocking IOS36? i dont know, i do know now that it works, and I will be looking into making some donations after i get coverloader or wiiflow installed and i am playing my backups!

    thanks so much!

I'm having a similar problem, im on a LU65 wii that has 3.4u installed. Just picked this up fresh from the store and when i try to do step 2 it gives me this error :
Error:ES_AddTitleStar returned -1035, maybe you need an updated downgrader
Error: Could not set the revision to 0
    Downgrade failed

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated i've been working on this for hours tried many guides and nothing seems to work. I just did a format and added HBC so everything is back to normal and it still wont work so hopefully someone can help me.

    Stuck at Step 3

HELP! i have been over and over this forum.

My wii is 3.4U and serial starts with L11

1: Copy files to SD card, all IOS go on the root, the 2 apps in the 'apps' folder.

2: Run Trucha Bug Restorer and downgrade IOS15.

    3. Run Trucha Bug Restorer again this time booting it with IOS15 & install patched (all patches) IOS36 as IOS36.

4: Run Trucha Bug Restorer again and this time restore IOS15.

5: Run cIOS38r13 installer select IOS36 as the one it should use and then select wad install.

Done! Now go install a backup loader - don't dare ask where or how! Search pls.

    Credit to: Wiipower & Waninkoko.

Step 3 is where i am getting caught up? I follow step two and have confirmed NO ERRORS! on step three i select the IOS15 on first screen and press B - wait for 1 to pop up after warning and press 1

THAN! in the top right hand corner it still says IOS36 ( REV 3090 )

when i select IOS36 and change all to YES and verify block 36 - click Install at the end it states it has failed and that is what the IOS15 is good for??? Im lost......

Just used this guide to make a new out of the box LU11 (4.0U pre-installed)do what it should do. Thank you for this guide was 100% perfect help. Did not have one issue. I was not able to do the boot MII thing. It seems the new partition 1 is already installed on this system. Thats OK I can live without it.

    Thanks
