@james - try the wiiscu solution...

@kokain - buying a chip is much easier!

@medo - if you have a nand backup that would be easier to restore - i am thinking of making a cioscorp uninstall pack....and your dvd-rs should work, don't burn them too slow/fast....4-8x should do it...

@marculus - sounds like your ios36 is messed up, try a diff one...

@wombler - download was broke - fixing right now

Hi i did an firmware upgrade to 4.1 via waninkoko's but still get the ticket error (ret= -2011) when trying to do the ISO60-patched.wad. The same problem when i pass the step 1-4 on lu64 3.4U. Now i see what's the problem i cannot select IOS249 when using the wad manager i only have ISO254 and others, any suggestion??

Yes, I selected the correct IOS while going through the steps. Note on the tech statement, I am not a hot head about it I just don't want people to treat me like an idiot by asking questions which have been answered in the original post so I don't have to waste time explaining myself multiple times to get the answer I am looking for. My mind set; Wasting time is pointless, lets get to the point given basic troubleshooting has been performed. So I have done all steps correctly but still recieve the same error??? Let me know what you guys think?

@sainter - no - just skip installing it

@marc - did you try replacing the ios36 with the one i linked to?

    Hi,
Towards trying a different *.wad file, I tried the link you provided but I don't know how to tell the wii to load the "IOS36-64-v1042.wad" instead of the "IOS36-64-v3094.wad" which is what I receive the error? Anyone know how to switch what the Wii loads?
