Since I'm being very unpractical, I have a question.

a). Open the Homebrew Channel, load Wad Manager 1.4, leave settings as default, select IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad and install it, then restart your Wii.

b). Load the Wad Manager 1.4 again, but this time select IOS16 as the one it should use and then install cios249.wad.

c). Load IOS Downgrader 1.0 and follow any prompts until it's complete. If nothing happens and it just asks you to reboot then don't worry, your IOS files are already hackable and they don't need downgrading.

If I follow these steps on a 4.0 Wii, couldn't it solve the problem that many face for finding cIOS 249.wad and possibly all WAD Files?
no cos you can't install ios16 on a virgin 4 wii

How very dissapointing. So the only alternative is to downgrade....I'm doubting that HBC and any other related points of material will be deleted due to downgrade because I have no other way of installing HBC besides Bannerbomb/HackMii.

EDIT: Sorry about the questions, I'm not the very best when it comes to hacking on my first try. Apparently when I load cIOS Downgrader, it just heads back to the Wii Menu without doing anything (Unless that's supposed to happen which I doubt is likely), so what do I have to do to fix it?

I followed the steps in this guide whenever I launch a game I get an dvd read error 559.
I also tried to use usblauncher where I installed a legit game onto the usb but when i try to launch it I just get a black screen and I have to hold the power button down to shut it off.

    Any Ideas what I'm missing?
