this link to see which System Menus are supported. You could always (optionally) upgrade to 4.1, for example.
Here's a quick cut'n'paste of this Tutorial you just completed that applies to you:
5. THE FINAL STEP
Priiloader is also an optional install, if you don't want it just skip b & c, but you must do step d, system menu hacks can be taken care of by Starfall (3.2) or startpatch (4/4.1), if you want them click my sig and have a look through my mediafire. There are no system hacks for 3.3/3.4.
Ok, so thats the priiloader screen, so now I have that figured out, in the settings under autoboot, I have system menu selected, but it still wants to boot into the priiloader screen. Weird
Thanks. I tought the firmware update to 4.1 was making my wii a 4.1 ...
So at the top of the priiloader screen, where it says system menu, when I click on that, shouldnt it take me to the wii system menu? It just takes me back to the priiloader screen. Anyone know whats going on there?
From the priiloader screen, when I go into the homebrew channel, and exit out back to the system menu, shouldn't I be going into the wii system menu, it takes me right back to the priiloader screen. Confusing, I must of done something wrong.
System menu-NTSC-U-v417.rar . The file should be system menu NTSCU417. Use WinRar to extract the file and then copy the sysmenu wad to your SD card.
Let's make sure IOS60patched got installed alright, go to HBC, select Wad Mgr-leave at the default IOS249 and SD card slot settings. Select the line with the word WAD and now install IOS60patched. Now reinstall your system menu using Wad Mgr again.
The system menu install will have overwritten priiloader, so please reinstall preloader and try to set the hacks and menu settings as directed in Step 5C again.
Thanks for the post it's great I have it working and updated. I seemed to have installed correctly the USB Loader GX & WBFS Manager 3. When I plug my USB-HDD in to the system I get this message (Crash?). IMG00043-20091208-1722.jpg
The document said to install Hermes cIOS if there is trouble with the USB drive. Any suggestions on what I might be able to do or another thread that deals with this. I figured I'd ask in here first since I followed this to softmod the wii.
I cant load gamecube games in WBFS. Wii games work perfectly.
Does WBFS support gamecube games?
Please help: I have a new black edition 4.1E (regnr LEF50066941) and softmodded the wii. Done everything but getting a black screen after starting neogamma. Read this forum and done step 3 and again installed neogamma. Again black screen.
Did step 3 again and again. Still the black screen. Than softmodded all over again. And ................ black screen. Tried also neogamma from RAFA and R8B13, same problem.
I don't know what I am doing wrong? Please help.
