@Rherb-once football is finished for the day, you can reinsert the SD card to complete Step5B-5D. Preloader is the fussiest of the apps about the SD card-use SD not HCSD. Formatted as before as FAT32.

@ash -good for you! That's great to keep your brain active and young undertaking new activities and continuing to learn. Best wishes.

Gen... HMM getting a little nervous.. With the SD (and it is an SD cart formated to Fat) OUT.. and I boot my Wii up what should it do at this point not have completed the rest of the steps?

And at this point should I remove the Bootmii folder from the SD card and just keep it on my pc for emergency?

TO continue installation starting at part 5 why start at 5B? and not 5A is that becuase I did that already I think i did? wii is not on now to check version?

Am i getting to nervouse or what!! LOL... Sorry..

Thanks for all your info... you provide to all

I said to start at Step 5B because you reported having completed Step4 before the football crowd swept you away. If you completed Step 4 you would have already installed IOS60patched and updated your Wii to sysmenu version 4.1.

At this point, w/o the SD card in the slot, you should power up to a 4.1 system menu. HBC will be seen on your channel page, but as an empty screen with bubbles.

Your remaining steps unless you did not really complete Step 4 (I can only go by what you report) are to install preloader, set the preloader hacks and menu settings as described in Steps 5B and 5C and to install the various IOSes and NeoGamma backup loader in Step 5D.

The only reason for you not to have done Step 4 is if your Wii is already using sysmenu 4.0 or 4.1, in that case, install IOS60patched as directed in step 5A.

I do not have any internet access for my wii (College wireless doesnt work for the wii), How should I update my wii from 3.4 to 4.1+? I do have NUSD to download system files. Not sure how I should upgrade without internet.

IOS60patched is already included, so just download the 4.1 System menu for your region using NUSD and put the wad into the WAD folder. Then load up WAD Manager and install IOS60patched THEN the system menu. Be careful though.
