    Okay,
This is by far the best guide I have found to softmod a Wii. I am scared to death but I want to give it a shot as well.

Wal-mart sells the 2gb sandisk wii cards for about $10 bucks. I am going to pick one of those up now and also see if I can find a gamecube controller from Game Stop while over there.

You smart ones, don't go far. I am sure I am going to need lots of help while doing this mod... =/ Going to get the supplies and will keep everyone posted and being asking questions when I get stuck!

Thanks for the guide.. and wish me luck!

I have a problem when try to launch wiiware games.
I install them with wad manager 1.4,they have channels on wii menu, but when I star someone it say:
    "cannot use this channel"
I downloaded PAL version for PAL console

I think that I must install aditional cIOS ot IOS that are not show to be install in this tutorial

What if my Wii is version 3.2E do i still need to update ?

    4. UPDATE YOUR SYSTEM MENU VERSION (OPTIONAL)

This step is optional unless you are on 3.3 or 3.4, you may upgrade now if you wish, boot2 v4 owners cannot downgrade! but can upgrade if you want. If you want to update to 4.1 then make sure you have at least 250 blocks free or you will brick, install IOS60-patched first (step 5a), then run Firmware Updater 4.1. If you are on 3.3 or 3.4 then you must update now - DO NOT install priiloader until you have updated as it will cause untold problems!.

    Thanks in advance

    Stuck at Step 2 (a)

    2. BACK UP YOUR NAND (OPTIONAL)

Making a NAND backup with Bootmii is highly recommended, it will recover your Wii from 99.9% of bricks.
Use the same SD card you used to install Bootmii and make sure there is at least 530mb free on it.
Bootmii is very fussy about what SD cards it uses, so avoid generic ones and try and use a Sandisk or similar.

    a) Put the SD card into the Wii, if you installed Bootmii as boot2 then it will load, if it is installed as an IOS go to the Homebrew Channel, press 'home' on your wiimote and select 'Launch Bootmii'.
Installed as IOS, ran hombrew channel, pressed home, but no option for "select 'Launch Bootmii'" appers, only "Back" "About" "Exit to systemmenu" "Shutdown" are available

Any secret hints ?, It seems the guide is upto dat as only edited yesterday.

Get help from cIOSCORP support now-you have replaced most of the core IOSes of the Wii with those patched IOSes. Because of all those replaced IOSes, you need to work within the cIOSCORP system now. One issue causing you problems may be that clean IOS36; it probably needs to have the cIOSCORP-patchedIOS36 installed. In the future-always ID your Wii as cIOSCORPed so that someone won't inadvertently think you have a normal softmod and have you do something disastrous.
Oh no... Not good. I just wanted to be able to load backups in the Disc Channel without using a loader. Saw cIOSCORP in the "optional" portion at the end of this guide, and thought it would be safe.

Please tell me there is a way to reverse this, even if it means going back to stock Nintendo firmware...

There are two ways to play backups in the Disc Channel: cIOSCORP and doing a chip or hardmod. There is nothing wrong if you made an informed decision to use cIOSCORP; it's just that you cannot stray outside that system because most of the core IOSes have been replaced so that any changes in the future have to be made within the context of cIOSCORP. If you no longer want cIOSCORP installed, there was an uninstaller in the 3.5 cIOSCORP download that you can use.
